The desk features a spacious writing surface, two drawers with brass handles, tapered legs, and beautifully grained cherry wood with a warm patina. This elegant and very practical piece of furniture from the early 19th century possesses the simple Biedermeier lines that look excellent in both classic and modern interiors. Traditional construction details include solid wood drawers and handcrafted dovetail joints. The writing surface is attached to the base with rounded wooden pegs and can be easily removed, which facilitates transport. The desk is in very good antique condition, retaining the minor signs of use and age befitting a piece of furniture nearly 200 years old.
