An elegant Biedermeier sewing work table crafted in richly figured mahogany and decorated with fine marquetry inlay, dating from around 1840–1850. The hinged top reveals a beautifully organized interior fitted with multiple compartments and small lidded boxes for sewing accessories. Raised on a graceful lyre-form pedestal base, the piece has been professionally restored and finished with a traditional hand-applied shellac polish, preserving its original character and warm patina.
