Narrow Biedermeier display cabinet/bookcase from the first half of the 19th century, circa 1825–1830, Northern Germany.
Original piece of furniture made of pyramid mahogany veneer on a softwood and oak frame.
Rounded body on framed feet, two framed doors glazed to approximately two-thirds of their width,
crowned cornice with a pointed pediment.
Calm, elegant lines typical of the Biedermeier period.
Well-maintained condition with age-appropriate signs of wear, beautiful patina, working lock with key.
Dimensions:
Height 189 cm, width 88 cm (99 cm at the cornice), depth 33 cm.
An original Biedermeier piece of furniture, ideal as a bookcase or collector's display cabinet, very suitable for a living room.
