Product description
An elegant Biedermeier cylinder desk made of cherry wood, crafted around 1840, with a warm wood tone and decorative veneer work. Geometric diamond patterns and fine, contrasting banding adorn the curved tambour front, the drawer fronts, and the sides. Metal loop handles and ornate keyhole escutcheons complement its classic appearance.
Behind the tambour front is a thoughtfully arranged interior with six small drawers and an open central compartment. The pull-out writing surface has a green inset. Three spacious drawers in the base and another drawer in the upper section provide additional storage. Molded edges and slightly splayed feet complete its harmonious proportions.
