Product description
Between Water and Air
The work originated from imagination and the love for the flight of geese and the river landscape.
The dreamy mystical atmosphere ensures that the work continues to intrigue.
I work with a self-developed technique of burned and chiseled lines in wood combined with acrylic and watercolor pencils and watercolor paint. The small incised lines arose from the realization that scars are not only signs of pain, but also of life. In my work, they transform into water, wind, light, and in this artwork, into ascending birds from the river: Images of movement, freedom, and resilience.
We don't have to dwell on our mistakes or remain stuck in our accumulated traumas; we move on, we fall and rise again, we grow and fly through. The artwork offers a breath of fresh air, a moment of calm, an artwork to dream, to fantasize in peace and simply be ourselves.
