Product description
This is an acoustic upright piano by Bernstein, presented in a warm, high-gloss wood finish. Its clean, mid-century modern lines and compact form make it a distinctive piece that serves as both a functional instrument and an elegant item of furniture.
The piano is constructed with a polished wood veneer, likely walnut or mahogany, which provides its rich, reddish-brown colour. A label inside indicates its origin from the Chernihiv factory in Ukraine, a region with a history of piano manufacturing. The instrument features a full keyboard with white and black keys and is equipped with two brass foot pedals.
Overall, the instrument is in a well-preserved state, showcasing the character of a cared-for piece. The original glossy lacquer remains vibrant, enhancing the natural grain of the wood. While it plays well, as is standard for acoustic pianos, it will require tuning after being moved to its new location.
With its modest footprint, this Bernstein piano is well-suited for a living room, study, or music room. Its classic yet understated design allows it to integrate seamlessly into a variety of interior styles, from traditional to more contemporary decors.
