Product description
Coffee tables | BELLATO | BERNARD VUARNESSON | PAR6 | 70s Large ICONIC modular coffee table, designed by Bernard Vuarnesson, with a wooden frame and six individually sliding tops in black and rust/orange-red. When closed, the table measures 140 × 70 cm; by sliding or rotating the six tops in different directions, the table surface can be greatly enlarged and reconfigured each time. This is VUARNESSON's large variant within his series for BELLATO of transformable coffee tables, built around six individually sliding tops. One side a warm rust/orange color and the other in black. Melamine. Bernard Vuarnesson is a French designer and engineer, known for transformable furniture where sliding and reversible elements allow for various configurations. Bellato was an Italian furniture producer that produced the early versions of Vuarnesson's PAR-series; related designs were later continued by Sculptures Jeux. MEASUREMENTS Closed: approx. 140 × 70 cm Height: approx. 40 cm Maximum unfolded / extended: approx. 210 × 140 cm Six individually sliding tops. Wooden frame with black and rust/orange-red top surfaces. PLEASE NOTE In very neat used condition. Two black tops each have a dent/damage; some orange/rust-colored surfaces have scratches. In all configurations, these signs of use can easily be kept completely out of sight. See photos for this. Very timeless and collectible object. Thanks to the six independently sliding tops, the table can transform from a compact rectangle of 140 × 70 cm to a large, maximum approximately 210 × 140 cm table surface, with many intermediate configurations.
