Product description
This painting by the French artist Bernard Dufour depicts an atmospheric city view from the mid-century period. The work captures the essence of a Parisian street, with the iconic Sacré-Cœur in the background and a characteristic boulangerie in the foreground. The artwork is executed on canvas and features a wooden frame. The composition combines earthy tones such as brown, beige, and white with subtle color accents in green and yellow. The texture of the paint and the expressive lines contribute to the lively appearance of the scene. The work is signed by the artist in the lower right corner. This work fits perfectly into a classic or eclectic interior. It adds a touch of French charm to a living room, study, or hallway, and combines well with both vintage and modern elements.
I find the photos appear somewhat washed out. The yellow color on the street and the boulangerie is a slightly brighter yellow, which I personally find more beautiful. There are red paint stains on it; I don't find it that bothersome. Perhaps Mr. Dufour made a mess?
