This lot comprises five vintage outdoor wall lights by the German manufacturer Bega, dating from the 1970s. The set consists of two different models that represent the functional and robust design ethos of that era.
Three of the lights feature a white lacquered metal base and a geometric, faceted shade made of transparent glass reminiscent of Space Age design. The other two lights have a glass housing half-painted black, which provides diffuse light scattering. This material combination of metal and glass was typical for durable and weather-resistant lights of this era.
As authentic vintage objects that have been used outdoors, the lights show a characteristic patina that reflects their history. Their overall condition is age-appropriate, and they retain their original character. Please note that this is a mixed set, as shown in the pictures.
These wall lights are ideal for adding a touch of retro aesthetics to a facade, an entrance area, or a terrace. They pair well with modern, brutalist, or industrial architecture and create atmospheric lighting.
