This is a vintage ceramic jug, manufactured in Prague in 1947. The piece is hand-painted and signed 'Ajiruk', which gives it a unique and authentic character. The jug stands out with its vibrant, folkloric floral motif and its classic, bulbous silhouette.
Made of ceramic, this jug displays a rich palette of colors, including orange, blue, yellow, and green on a cream-colored background. The dimensions are approximately 16 cm in height and 12 cm in width. The bottom is marked with the signature 'Ajiruk', the year 1947, and a Prague stamp, confirming its origin and dating.
The overall condition is good and consistent with the object's age. The jug has an authentic patina that adds to its vintage charm. The original finish and clear markings have been fully preserved, testifying to its history.
This decorative jug is a charming addition to an interior with a rustic, bohemian, or eclectic style. It can serve as a small vase for wildflowers or as a standalone object on a dresser, shelf, or in a display cabinet.
