About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a characteristic cabinet by the Dutch furniture manufacturer Schuitema, made of a warm type of wood. The piece is part of the well-known Decoforma collection, which is inspired by the styles of Art Deco and the Amsterdamse School.
This tall sideboard is a very exclusive, handmade design cabinet made of solid cherry wood or French oak, finished with characteristic Art Deco details of ebony and brass. The design is characterized by clean lines and refined details, such as the inlaid metal fittings on the corners and sides and the elegant brass ring handles. Inside, the cabinet offers practical storage space with multiple shelves.
The overall condition of the cabinet is excellent, retaining its original finish and distinctive character. Only at the very bottom, near the base trim, there are 1 or 2 tiny spots that can be easily touched up.
This piece of furniture is a timeless addition that fits into both classic and modern interiors, for example, as a stylish storage unit in the living room or hallway.
