The Moooi Obon Side Table is a design by Simone Bonanni. After graduating in 2012, the Italian Bonnani started working at Moooi, where he worked for three years under the management of Marcel Wanders. He now has his own design studio, but we can still enjoy one of his designs that was released by Moooi in 2018: the Obon tables. These side and coffee tables are a tribute to terracotta and the long history that man has with this material. The entire table is made of ceramic and the top is glazed. This entire process is done by hand, which means that every table is unique and may vary slightly in size and the finish of the glaze
