Product description
Very elegant neorococo-style display cabinet, probably made around 1900-1930 in Belgium or northern France. The cabinet is made of solid wood (possibly walnut or oak) with herringbone veneer and beautifully hand-carved ornaments. The year of construction and exact type of wood cannot be determined with complete certainty, but everything points to craftsmanship from this period. The cabinet features 7 sturdy glass shelves, perfect for displaying china, collectibles or curiosities. The cabinet has a beautiful cornice, original brass hinges and ornate legs. The lock is present but not currently working (no matching key). A later added light fixture has been installed, including a cable grommet on the side. Dimensions: Height: approx. 250 cm Width: approx. 130 cm Depth: approx. 45 cm An impressive and highly decorative piece of furniture, which is a real eye-catcher in both classic and modern interiors. In good condition, with normal signs of age.

One cable grommet (approx. 8mm) in upper right side.
