This eighteen-piece Japanese dinner service from the 1960s or 70s is a striking example of mid-century ceramics. The set stands out due to its bright color scheme and distinctive ribbed lids that create a playful, geometric silhouette. The set is crafted from ceramic and finished with a glossy glaze in a fresh combination of white and light blue.
The set consists of:
1 Large teapot / coffee pot with lid
1 Sugar bowl with lid
1 Small milk jug with lid
4 Matching white cups with blue saucers
4 Blue breakfast/pastry plates
The underside of the pieces is marked 'JAPAN', confirming their origin and production period.
