Product description
B&B Italia Ray 3-Seater Sofa – Antonio Citterio Beautiful B&B Italia Ray three-seater sofa, designed by renowned Italian architect and designer Antonio Citterio. Introduced in 2010, the Ray is one of B&B Italia’s modular sofa systems, characterised by its low, balanced proportions and clean architectural lines. The design combines a tubular steel internal structure with distinctive U-shaped die-cast aluminium feet, positioned 10 cm above the floor. Another signature detail of the Ray collection is its refined blanket stitching, which can be finished in a contrasting colour, as on this example. The upholstery is removable. This example is upholstered in a beautiful textured, mottled fabric in grey and brown tones, complemented by contrasting beige stitching. The combination gives the sofa a particularly warm and understated appearance. The sofa has been very lightly used and remains in excellent condition. The fabric has no holes, stains or other noticeable defects. The cushions have also retained their shape very well. Approximate dimensions: • Width: 235 cm • Depth: 99 cm • Armrest height: 63 cm B&B Italia is one of Italy’s most important contemporary furniture manufacturers, and the Ray is a particularly elegant example of Antonio Citterio’s approach to proportion, comfort and understated design. Sold only due to a change in interior decoration. Additional photographs and information are available on request.
