About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is the Metropolitan swivel armchair, a design by Jeffrey Bernett for the Italian design brand B&B Italia. The piece is characterized by its flowing lines and inviting silhouette, which seamlessly transition from the seat into the armrests. The high backrest and the swivel base combine comfort with dynamic functionality.
The armchair is crafted with sturdy, mottled fabric upholstery in a dark brown hue. The construction rests on a four-star base of polished aluminum, ensuring a stable and smooth swivel movement. The design includes a loose seat cushion, a lumbar cushion, and an adjustable headrest, all executed in the same fabric for a coherent look. This model is an example of refined Italian craftsmanship.
The overall condition of the chair is good, with upholstery that has retained its texture and color. The structure is solid and the swivel function works properly. The cushions are full and offer the original comfort as intended by the designer.
This Metropolitan armchair is an elegant addition to a living room, study, or reading nook. Its timeless aesthetic fits well within both modern and minimalist interior styles and can serve as a comfortable and stylish statement piece.
