The B&B Italia Maxalto Titanes 9942 buffet, part of the Apta Collection, represents a refined approach to contemporary storage. Designed with a focus on clean lines and architectural presence, this sideboard exemplifies the sophisticated aesthetic associated with Italian design and the Maxalto brand. Constructed from wood with a dark brown finish, the cabinet features four doors that open to reveal a spacious interior with adjustable shelving. The piece is elevated on a slender, silver-toned metal base, which provides a visual lightness that contrasts with the substantial wooden body. The minimalist hardware is integrated seamlessly into the design, maintaining the uninterrupted profile of the facade. The buffet remains in good condition, retaining its structural integrity and functional capacity. The dark wood finish displays a natural patina consistent with age and use, adding character to the piece while preserving its original design intent. Le buffet était acheté dans le showroom de B&B Italia à Londres en 2004 pour accompagner la table ATHOS avec ses chaises SOLO revêtues en tissu. Le meuble est surélevé par un piétement métallique argenté qui, surtout sur un des pieds arrière gauche portent multiples rayures fines mais pas visiblement gênant sauf si on zoom sur une photo de cet endroit (cf. photo). Le côté gauche du meuble a été repris par un ébéniste dans le milieu bas, et sur le côté droit sur la partie arrière supérieure (cf. photos). Il y a quelques points ou petites rayures inconséquents superficiels (cf. photos). Dans l'intérieur qui est composé de 2 compartiments, droit et gauche, avec chacun une étagère réglable, le compartiment gauche avec 2 portes battantes a une marque blanchâtre (comme une rayure mais n'étant pas car elle est en surface) faisant 5cm sur la droite au milieu bas, sur la gauche une tâche (encore en surface) aureole blanchâtre au milieu haut, et encore une sorte de "rayure" blanchâtre sur la porte battante gauche sur l'intérieure. Ces traces blanchâtres sont dues au scotch blanc d'emballage que les déménageurs ont utilisé pour fixer certains éléments. Aucune tentative a été realisé pour nettoyer ou essayer d'enlever ses traces car elles sont à l'intérieur du meuble. Dans le compartiment droit, les déménageurs ont perdu l'étagère mais le supports métalliques y sont toujours (cf. photo).
