The Charles Corner Sofa is a tribute by B&B Italia and Antonio Citterio to Charles Eames. Citterio, himself a world-renowned designer, designed the Charles sofa in 1997. It pays homage to the design of the 1950s and 1960s. It is therefore named after one of the most important representatives of the design world of those two decades: Charles Eames. The reference to bygone times but timeless design is evident in the light, elegant and simple appearance of the sofa. The iconic design of the Charles sofa has been a reference model in the design world since its introduction. It is mainly characterized by its timeless elegance, which transcends current trends. Suitable for modern and classic interiors, the Charles corner sofa offers a high degree of comfort and flexibility. The frame of the sofa is made of tubular and steel profiles, covered with Bayfit® polyurethane foam. The seat cushions are made of molded polyurethane of different densities, sterilized down and polyester fibers. This and the loose back cushions make the Charles sofa not only a style classic, but also a truly comfortable sofa for relaxing hours.
