About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This coffee service is an elegant work by the German porcelain manufacturer Bavaria Tirschenreuth, made of porcelain and real silver. The set is characterized by its deep red color in combination with the shiny silver mounts and floral decorations.
The four-piece set consists of a coffee pot, a sugar bowl with lid, a milk jug and a matching tray. The porcelain features a silver overlay, as indicated by the 'echt silber 1000' stamp, which denotes a high purity of the silver. The pieces are marked on the underside, confirming their origin from Germany.
The tableware is in very good condition, commensurate with its age. The porcelain is intact and the silver parts have retained their shine well, which testifies to careful use over the years. The set is complete and forms a coherent whole.
This tableware is a refined addition to a set table or as a decorative object on a dresser or in a display cabinet. It fits perfectly within a classic, eclectic or Hollywood Regency interior.
