The design of this Baumann armchair is simply breathtaking.
By offering a low seat, a sled base and a voluntary look, the Franche-Comté manufacturer has offered us a jewel of modernism and dynamism.
The use of plywood allows the backrest to bend and looks streamlined.
The result is a breathtaking vision of modernist design!
Model called "sled base or sled" Glued laminated base, curved backrest in rosewood veneer and covered with a very soft warm fabric.
It is a fine example of French work from the 1960s.
63 cm wide, 60 cm deep and 37 cm seat height, 69 cm total height.
This armchair is really in very good condition.
