A rare classic. Industrial design
This is the Garden bench Model 1000, also known as "Bärenbank", designed by Walter Papst for Wilkhahn. Its sculptural, one-piece molded design is a characteristic example of 1960s Space Age design.
The bench is made of red-colored fiberglass, making it both durable and weather-resistant. With a width of 240 cm, it offers generous seating. The condition of the piece is age-appropriate, with a clear patina that emphasizes its vintage character.
