The Knoll Barcelona Table coffee table was designed in 1929 by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. The table is part of the iconic Barcelona collection and complements the Barcelona Chair. Like the lounge chair, the coffee table is crafted with exceptional craftsmanship. The square tabletop is made of transparent glass and rests on an elegant welded steel base with a chrome-plated, polished surface. The Knoll Barcelona collection also includes a matching footstool and a sofa bed.
Mies van der Rohe's 'less is more' approach has inspired multiple generations of modern architecture and design. His furniture is acclaimed worldwide: in 1977, Barcelona even won the Museum of Modern Art Award.
Unfortunately, one of the corners has some damage (see photos). This is only on the underside of the glass plate, but is visible from certain viewing angles. From a top view, it is barely visible and, fortunately, has no sharp edges.
