Product description
This Barbotine or Majolica bowl is a striking example of classic European ceramics. The design is characterized by a richly detailed, three-dimensional relief typical of this traditional pottery style.
The bowl is crafted from ceramic and finished with an expressive glaze in shades of turquoise, brown, green, and red. The central motif depicts a bird amidst leaves and cherries, surrounded by a textured background and an elegant, gold-colored rim. The reverse side shows the natural color of the earthenware with a dark mark M and a tiny blue dot.
