This vintage IKEA Mushroom lamp was designed by Robert Sonneman in the 1970s. IKEA has repeatedly released the table lamp, named Barad, over the years. This one is from the first production series, as can be seen from the cord emerging from a stand rather than the base as with later models. This lamp, with its distinctive mushroom-shaped shade, embodies the elegant simplicity and functional aesthetic that made Sonneman famous. The timeless design fits seamlessly into contemporary interiors. The soft, round shade ensures a warm, even distribution of light.
