Magnificent refurbished Beogram 1000 - Bang & Olufsen
High End Hi-Fi
Design by Jacob Jensen - Denmark - 1965-1973
No maintenance required... Plug & Play!
In addition to its exceptional design (it's part of the permanent collection at MoMA in NYC), the Beogram 1000 sounds wonderful.
The brand's legendary and iconic turntable was fully restored in 2024.
Offered here in its superb hammered silver and solid teak finish.
Excellent cosmetic condition with slight signs of use.
The turntable is technically in mint condition, as new from the factory.
The motor, lower platter, and belt have been replaced.
The bearings have been lubricated and adjusted.
Fine speed control.
Reassembled and tested daily.
The original cover has been polished to a high standard.
This Beogram 1000, equipped with its famous SP14A boom, is reminiscent of the fuselage and cockpit of the famous Concorde supersonic aircraft and the original SP 6-7 16my airframe. The stylus is in very good condition.
The service was carried out by the specialist Bang & Olufsen in the Netherlands.
