Product description
Rare vintage bakelite desk lamp model 11126 originally designed by Eric Kirkham Cole for EKCO Ltd in the 1930s. This particular example was produced in Czechoslovakia during the 1950s under official EKCO licence production. The model became highly popular for its functional adjustable arm and movable shade, combining practicality with elegant industrial design.
The lamp is made of dark brown bakelite and remains in excellent original condition without chips or cracks. It has been fitted with new electrical components and works with one bulb. European plug.
A beautiful example of licensed Mid-Century industrial lighting with timeless functionalist character. The lamp was fitted with the new electric cord in black color, how it was refinished.
