Product description
Special transparent vase by Avance, model nr. 472, Made in Holland. The design has a distinct sculptural and architectural form, with tightly folded surfaces, sharp lines, and a characteristic triangular construction. Due to the transparent plastic, the different surfaces overlap in ever-changing ways, giving the vase a different spatial effect from every angle. The vase has an exclusive and almost object-like appearance, making it not only functional but also strong as a decorative design object. The geometric shape, transparency, and technical construction give the whole a clear vintage design aesthetic. The underside is originally marked with “AVANCE Nr. 472”, “Made in Holland”, “by Somé Vena Hilversum” and “Mod. Dep.”, meaning a deposited or registered design. Height 22,5 cm, width 14 cm and depth 14 cm. In used vintage condition with scratches and some discoloration. Careful cleaning with a mild detergent may further improve its appearance.
