A beautiful and high-quality oriental rug from the famous rug region Kashan (Iran). The rug is in excellent, clean condition and features an attractive, all-over floral motif on a deep (night) blue base with a terracotta-red border. This rug is entirely hand-knotted (100% virgin wool on a cotton foundation) and has its original fringes and original leather protective edges on the back to prevent curling. Specifications: Origin / Type: Classic Persian Kashan rug Dimensions: 310 x 250 cm (Total area: 7.75 m²) Knot density: approx. 50 knots per 10 cm (equivalent to no less than approx. 250,000 knots per m²) Total number of knots: Nearly 2 million handmade knots!
