About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is an authentic Chinese Kang table, crafted from wood and richly decorated. The piece of furniture is characterized by its traditional Asian design and the detailed, hand-painted scenes that adorn the surface. The table is constructed of wood and finished in a deep black base color with multicolored, primarily gold and red, figurative paintings. The front features two drawers with metal ring fittings, which are both functional and decorative. The scalloped bottom edge and the carved side panels contribute to the classic silhouette. The paintings depict traditional figures in a landscape, which is typical of this style. The furniture is in a condition commensurate with its age and use. The original finish and patina contribute to the authentic character of the piece. The construction is solid and the drawers function properly. This Kang table looks excellent in an eclectic or classic interior. It can serve as a striking side table in a living room or as a decorative element in a hallway or bedroom.
