The piece is exceptional because its underside is fully documented with the exact production date of April 21, 1985, the master's personal signature, and a reference to his private studio. Due to its fully documented provenance, expressive Hijiori design, and excellent preservation, this is a special collector's item within the classic Japanese Kokeshi tradition.
