An original Mid-Century Modern EA 119 swivel armchair designed by Charles & Ray Eames. This is a highly sought-after 1970s edition, dating back to the period when Herman Miller formed a partnership with Vitra (prior to Vitra acquiring the European rights in 1984). The chair is signed. It features excellent quality of workmanship, made of natural white leather and chrome-plated aluminum. All original functions are fully operational: raising and lowering, 360-degree swivel, rocking/tilt, and adjusting the seat hardness (tension).
■ CONDITION & DETAILS
Condition: Superb vintage condition.
Wear: Unlike many chairs of this age, there are absolutely no tears in the white leather. It shows only a tiny, microscopic patina from very careful use, maintaining its highly luxurious appearance.
Dimensions: H 101 cm x W 55 cm x D 58 cm. Seat height is adjustable in the range of 44-58 cm.
