Product description
An antique Austrian decorative wall plate featuring a central motif of two women with flowers, signed "Summer" at the front and at the back 151 and a blue beehive and Austria. It is adorned with rich red and gold patterns and a scalloped edge. A chip (repaired) is present on the edge of the plate.
This gorgeous Austrian wall plate has a diameter of approx. 25 cm and a height of 4.5 cm. Marked on back (as above). Weight approx. 615 grams.
As you can see from the photos it's been repaired ! Therefore very low price.
Background note : the beehive mark was used by the Imperial State Porcelain Manufactory of Vienna and widely copied by other high-quality Austrian and Bohemian workshops during the turn of the century.i
