About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This extensive breakfast service by August Warnecke is a refined example of classic porcelain. The service features the recognizable 'China Purpur' decor, characterized by a detailed, hand-painted floral motif in a deep purple hue on a bright white background. The set is crafted from high-quality porcelain and comprises various pieces, including plates, egg cups, small bowls, a butter dish, and an openwork serving dish. The delicate purple pattern contrasts beautifully with the white porcelain, creating an elegant and timeless appearance. The underside of the pieces is marked with the August Warnecke logo and the designation 'Handgemalt Dekor: China Purpur'. The service is in good condition, commensurate with its age and use. The original luster of the porcelain and the vibrancy of the hand-painted decor have been well preserved, contributing to the authentic character of the set. This classic service comes into its own perfectly in a traditional or country-style interior. It offers a stylish foundation for an elaborate breakfast or brunch and combines effortlessly with other classic tableware.
