This pendant lamp is a design by Per Sundstedt for the Swedish manufacturer Ateljé Lyktan, produced in the 1980s. The fixture combines a functional design with a distinctive Scandinavian aesthetic, where the perforated shade ensures subtle light diffusion.
The lamp is made of metal and plastic, finished in a neutral white color scheme. The design is characterized by a wide, perforated metal shade that partially lets light through, combined with a closed plastic inner diffuser for soft, indirect lighting. The original manufacturer's sticker from Ateljé Lyktan is present, confirming its provenance and authenticity.
The fixture is in good condition, commensurate with its age and previous use. The original finish and structural integrity have been preserved, contributing to the authentic character of this vintage piece.
This design fits perfectly into a modern or Scandinavian interior. The lamp comes into its own above a dining table or in a workspace, where it offers both functional light and an understated design statement.
This is a vintage item. This means it has been used. Items are not new or perfect, but they are very beautiful! Most vintage items show signs of use. The extent to which these signs of use are present is stated in the description. Photos are part of this description. Please examine them carefully. Vintage (read: used) items sometimes show color variations, uneven wear, and/or normal wear. Please take this into account when making a purchase.
For shipping, the item is carefully packed to prevent damage. I ship in recycled and eco-friendly boxes.
