Product description
Exceptional square plate with a hollow shape,
from the famous Maison Pichon manufacture in
Uzès. Although not signed on the back, its technical
craftsmanship, its 26 cm beveled mold, and its
graphic aesthetic confirm that it comes
from the same artist series as the previous one.
The plate features a remarkable hand-painted background
decoration imitating the veins of flamed wood
(faux-wood or agate effect) in chocolate brown,
ochre, and caramel tones. In its center,
a stylized pear in vivid and luminous saffron yellow
blossoms, topped with two deep green leaves
highlighted by relief lines and very graphic black shadows.
A superb Provençal art earthenware from the
1960s/1970s, ideal for pairing with the
gourd model or for starting a set.
Features:
• Manufacture: Maison Pichon Uzès (France)
• Attributed to artist: Verdame
• Theme: Pear / Vegetal decoration
• Period: Circa 1960-1970
• Dimensions: 26 cm x 26 cm | Height 2 cm

The glossy enamel has a perfect mirror shine,
the colors are intense and without any chips.
