Product description
Scandinavian chair “Mademoiselle” designed by Ilmari Tapiovaara for Asko in the 1960s. Ilmari Tapiovaara designed various bar chairs, including the well-known “Mademoiselle” chair. He designed this chair in 1956, after which it was produced by Asko. Because the Mademoiselle was so popular, other manufacturers also started making bar chairs. This is an original mid-century copy of Asko from the sixties. The condition is still good, normal signs of use and wear, scratches, dents, paint damage. Material: wood (black). Dimensions: hxwxd = 90 x 55 x 64 cm and the seat height is 40 cm. Material: Birch wood. Marked: Asko (see photos).
