Product description
TOP-DESIGNCLASSIX ™ "Design classics, design and vintage furniture as new"
For sale is a completely restored, very high-quality acrylic glass rolling cart / Coffee table with pull-out shelf, in like-new condition.
OBJECT:
Rolling cart / Coffee table / Phono cart / Bar cart with pull-out shelf
STYLE:
Mid Century Modern
DESCRIPTION:
The rolling cart is extremely high-quality and accordingly heavy. It consists of 2cm thick acrylic glass panels, which have a beautiful 5mm wide chamfer on the edges. The middle shelf is fully extendable. Metal rails with locking positions were used here, which make the shelf easily extendable by means of ball bearings. Chrome castors, which are screwed directly into the acrylic glass on the underside, make it appear to float, make it easy to position and emphasize its value.
MANUFACTURER / DESIGNER:
Possibly Gallotti & Radice, Italy (we received the table together with other Gallotti & Radice tables)
MATERIAL:
Acrylic glass (Plexiglas) polished, chrome-plated metal
COLOR TONE:
Transparent / clear
Info:
The photos are overexposed so that the 1a condition is also visible in detail! Colors generally become brighter as a result. Grayish or milky areas in the photos are also due to exposure or lighting (reflections). The surfaces are glossy.
DIMENSIONS:
approx. Width: 80cm; Depth: 40cm; Height: 45cm; clear height bottom: 16.5cm; top: 17cm
CONDITION:
Breathtaking! The furniture has been completely restored by us and shines as if new. It doesn't get any better than this. Traces of use? Almost none! No comparison to the usual offers found on the internet with scratched surfaces due to years of use! This is a grade 1 without ifs and buts!
FORMER NEW PRICE / LIST PRICE / COMPARISON PRICE:
is unfortunately not known.
To give a reference point, a rolling cart of the same design, but without a pull-out shelf, currently costs 1304,- Euro at the acrylic glass furniture manufacturer 'Glanz' in Hamburg. However, the vintage character of the furniture is then naturally missing.
OUR PRICE:
Our Whoppah price includes Whoppah's gross commission of a total of 19.36% (16% net commission + 21% pro rata Dutch VAT).
TRANSPORT:
We have found that transport by Whoppah courier is sometimes significantly (100-150%) above the market price of usual furniture forwarding agents and furniture couriers! We may be able to organize cheaper transport for you within Germany, to the Netherlands, to neighboring German countries or an EU transport. A cheaper non-EU transport by general cargo forwarding agent in a special wooden crate may also be possible.
!!! However, contacting us before purchase is absolutely necessary!!!
TRANSPORT COSTS:
e.g. Germany, approx. 99,- Euro, depending on distance in kilometers
e.g. Netherlands approx. 99 - 149,- Euro, single trip directly to the buyer, depending on distance in kilometers (also possible on weekends!)
!!! The transport costs stated under "Shipping is carried out by the seller" only apply to transport within Germany excluding islands!!!
Unfortunately, an individual display of transport costs is currently not possible on Whoppah.
