Product description
An extraordinary detailed hand carved arts and crafts pedestal from England, ca 1880. This large pedestal ( 120 cm ) originally was foldable, over time it has been fastened on the inside as can be seen in the last pic, the top has also been fastened to the pedestal. All the original hinges are still there and even the hinges and hooks on the inside are still present. According to our restorer there has been some repairs done to one of the carvings just underneath the top but not very noticeable. The details of the carvings are immaculate.
