This male mallard duck, carved from wood and hand-painted, embodies all the chromatic vibrancy of 1970s tropical craftsmanship. But it hides a secret: the bird's body opens in two, revealing a carefully hollowed-out interior of natural, veined wood, ready to hold jewelry, buttons, or small treasures.
