About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This Artifort coffee table, designed by Kho Liang Ie, is a representative example of 20th-century Dutch design. The design is characterized by a clear, architectural form language in which material and construction take center stage.
The table consists of a robust metal frame with distinctive round legs, supporting a square top of frosted glass. The dimensions are 100 centimeters in width, 100 centimeters in depth, and 39 centimeters in height. The combination of the silver-colored metal and the semi-transparent glass creates an understated, industrial aesthetic.
The object is in good condition commensurate with its age and previous use. The construction is fully intact and stable, with the materials retaining their original character.
This piece of furniture functions excellently as a centerpiece in a seating area. The minimalist design integrates effortlessly into both modern and eclectic interiors, forming a subtle contrast with softer materials such as textiles or wood.
Metal frame has signs of use. Light scratches. So does the table top.
