This is the iconic Groovy armchair, also known as the M-Chair (model F598), designed by the famous French designer Pierre Paulin for the Dutch brand Artifort.
This Groovy has been fully restored by us, meaning a completely new internal structure and entirely new upholstery in Teddy Klint by Bute Fabric. Very heavy, top-quality wool bouclé! The upholstery was done by an absolute craftswoman and executed to perfection, ready for a new home!
Design Features
The chair is a classic from the 1970s (designed around 1972-1973) and is known for its sculptural, organic forms.
Structure: The armchair features a metal tubular frame encased in molded foam and rests on a characteristic anodized aluminum profile at the base.
