Product description
This is a footstool, designed by the French designer Pierre Paulin for the Dutch manufacturer Artifort. The piece of furniture is the iconic Tulip ottoman, known for its organic shape and expressive character, a hallmark of Paulin's work.

The pouf features vibrant orange leather upholstery and rests on a distinctive, tulip-shaped base of polished steel. This design is a celebrated example of Dutch Design and the Space Age movement. The label under the seat confirms its authenticity as a 'Tulip' model, produced by Artifort.
This piece is in good condition. The upholstery is made of soft yellow leather, then once painted with orange leather dye. It has a beautiful color.
The furniture perfectly matches the accompanying Tulip armchair, but also functions as a standalone statement piece in a Mid-Century Modern, eclectic, or contemporary interior.
