This striking chaise longue is a design by Geoffrey Harcourt for Artifort, originally sketched in 1970. It is a unique interpretation from 2007, in which the iconic silhouette is executed in a light grey wool blend. The piece of furniture distinguishes itself through the organic, sculptural design characteristic of the Space Age era. The chaise longue is upholstered in a high-quality wool blend and rests on custom-made stainless steel legs that give the design a floating character. The dimensions are 192 cm wide, 91 cm deep, and 66 cm high, with a seat height of 28 cm. The chaise longue is in excellent condition and displays the craftsmanship for which Artifort is known. The original upholstery is intact, and the stainless steel base provides a sturdy and stylish foundation. This seating element serves as a true monument in a modern interior.
