Product description
A beautiful original example of the Artifort 877 side table, designed by Pierre Paulin in 1965. This table comes from the former Artifort showroom on Annalaan in Maastricht and is in exceptionally neat, original condition.
The 877 is a typical Paulin design: a simple piece of furniture that takes on an almost sculptural appearance thanks to its flowing lines and rounded forms. Despite its compact size, it is a striking object that comes into its own perfectly as a side table, coffee table, or design piece.
This particular example features the original white finish. The construction is completely intact; no cracks, repairs, or damage. Along a few edges, the white lacquer has become slightly thinner over the years due to careful cleaning. I have chosen to leave it as is, because these light signs of use actually underscore the originality of the piece.
The underside features the original Artifort stamp as well as the mention of Pierre Paulin.
