The PH Artichoke pendant lamp, designed by Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen, is an undisputed icon of mid-20th-century Scandinavian design. Originally conceived in 1958 for the Langelinie Pavilion in Copenhagen, this model captivates with its distinctive, sculptural form and masterful light control. Crafted from precisely arranged copper leaves mounted on a chrome-plated steel frame, the lamp produces a completely glare-free, warm light. The complex structure of 72 leaves conceals the light source from every angle and gently reflects the light into the room. Measuring 60 centimeters in diameter, this version is presented in an elegant copper tone, perfectly complemented by the white interior of the leaves. The lamp bears the original Louis Poulsen hallmark. The piece is in good condition and displays an authentic patina that highlights the character of the material.
