Product description
Fritz is a 1987 design by renowned designers Perry King and Santiago Miranda for Arteluce that was acquired by Flos in the 1990s. It is a originally intended as a desk lamp but as general lighting also art object on a sideboard it certainly attracts attention. The top resembles a fabric military cap with a transparent green lid and a white plastic flap. The cap rests on two thin dark gray high-gloss rods and a ditto black base. The lamp has a G 6.35 fitting for up to 50 watts of halogen or 3 watts of LED and a separate 12-volt transformer that, given the length of the cord, can be placed quite a distance from the lamp. The height of the lamp is 54 cm and the diameter of the shade and base are 15 and 18 cm, respectively. Except for a very small damage to the lacquer on the back of the base, the lamp is as good as new. Possibly they two copies available. Will be shipped insured.
