Beautiful pair of glazed earthenware Art Nouveau vases in the shape of a tree stump, featuring putti or cherubs and bunches of grapes with leaves, entirely in the style of Amphora Austria, numbered 7196 at the bottom and marked L R, circa early 20th century.
The Art Nouveau style is characterized by asymmetry, graceful, organic, and flowing lines, often inspired by plants, flowers, and nature.
