Beautiful and rare pair of antique Art Nouveau / Jugendstil majolica vases by the famous French ceramics manufacturer Gustave De Bruyn (Fives-Lille), dated ca. 1890–1910. The vases feature streamlined, tall handles and rich relief decoration on the upper rim. The glaze has a brilliant iridescent, flaming color palette in deep green and blue tones (flammé). Specifications: Manufacturer: Gustave De Bruyn (Fives-Lille, France) Period: Art Nouveau (ca. 1900) Height: 38 cm Width: 16 cm (including handles) Marked on the bottom: Anchor stamp De Bruyn, 'Made in France', 'Déposé' and form number 4692. Condition: In very good condition. No chips, cracks, or restorations (only the authentic age-related craquelé in the glaze). Will be packed very carefully.
