Product description
This pair of vases by the Eichwald company is a classic example of Bohemian majolica from the early twentieth century. The characteristic Art Nouveau style is expressed in the organic lines and the stylized floral motifs that dominate the design.
Crafted from ceramic, these vases display a rich palette of green shades, accented with red and cream-colored details in the floral motif. The vases have a height of 31 centimeters and are numbered 7956 on the bottom, accompanied by a 6 and a Roman numeral III. The construction displays the typical majolica technique with a glossy glaze layer that highlights the relief decorations.
The vases are in good condition, commensurate with their age and use. The original glaze has retained its luster and the colors are still vibrant.
These vases make a refined addition to a classic or eclectic interior. They come into their own particularly well on a wooden sideboard or in a display cabinet, where the historical value and craftsmanship can be admired.
