About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a decorative dish, made of tin in the characteristic Art Nouveau style. The object is characterized by the elegant, sculptural figure of a lady centrally placed on an organically shaped bowl.
The dish is made of a high-content tin alloy, as indicated by the "95%" marking. The design shows the flowing, asymmetrical lines typical of the Art Nouveau period around the turn of the last century. The surface of the bowl is decorated with engraved floral motifs reminiscent of water lilies. The silver-colored finish gives the whole a refined appearance.
The overall condition of the object is good, in accordance with its age. It has developed a natural patina that contributes to its authentic character and historical value. The details of both the figure and the engravings are still clearly visible and the object appears to be in original condition.
